TES Participates in Ten Moves! Fun Run for 10 Activity

As part of the DepEd family, the Tortugas Elementary School Grade V pupils together with their adviser Mrs. Novalyn Cauilan joined the Ten Moves Fun Run for 10 last January 13, 2013.

This was in reference to DepEd Region III Advisory  dated January 7, current. The advisory states that Balanga City DepEd officials, school administrators, teachers, students to participate in the synchronized Ten Moves! Fun Run for 10 Activity.

The said activity was an advocacy campaign and a national fund – raising drive to help construct ten thousand public school classroom nationwide.

The Ten Moves! Fun Run for 10 started with a Thanksgiving Mass at 6:30 AM at St. Joseph Cathedral. Then after the mass the participants were gathered in Plaza Mayor for the assembly. Then at 7:45 the Ten Moves! Fun Run / Parade proceeded  to Balanga Elementary School.

At Balanga Elementary School, a short program was held. A prayer by Mrs. Rufina Ramos, Principal of Tanato Elementary School opened the program with a prayer. National anthem was conducted by Mrs. Amelia Inieto, Principal of Cataning Elementary School. To give more life to the activity  a roll call was led by Mr. Alejandro Icban, Principal of E. Bernabe Elementary School. Opening remarks was made by Dr. Robert Osongco, Assistant Division Superintendent of the Division of the City Schools of the City of Balanga.

He explained the advocacy of the Ten Moves! Fun Run for 10. After giving details about the advocacy by Dr. Robert Osongco, orientation from Mr. Ernesto Robles,    Division     ALS Supervisor,      followed.

The closing message was delivered by Dr. Flordeliza Del Rosario, Division Science Supervisor.

A Tree – Planting School Based concluded the Ten Moves! Fun Run for 10 Activity.
